CPCA organised a press conference with the cooperation of the regional representatives of the CPCA to give an account of a first balance sheet relating to the application of 25 measures announced by the Prime minister during the national conference of the community life on January 23rd, 2006.
On the basis of official reports gathered at national and regional level by the associative movement, and in spite of some advances, Jacques Henrard govern of the CPCA think that today we are still away off . That is why at this occasion CPCA asked that urgent measures are taken by the Prime minister in six domains:
- the signature of conventions and the releasing of credits concerning, ministry by ministry, the actions of associations as soon as possible in compliance with the procedure announced during conference;
- the opening of cooperations, ministry by ministry, on the definition of missions, actions and other indicators of the bill of finances 2007;
- the opening of a cooperation on the policy of training of the volunteers and "Sanctuarisation" of credits voted in finance act for 2006;
- the cooperation of associative movement on all measures, sectoral and interassociative, associative policy of the government;
- cooperation with regional CPCA notably as part of the contracts of plans State regions and future operational programmes of the European funds;
- the implementation of specific plan of support of job in associations as part of a round table with Minister of Employment and of social cohesion.
CPCA will meet the Prime minister on July 10th of this year, this important appointment will be a chance to measure the political will and the governmental coherence given to measures in favour of associations.
If this first balance sheet is necessary, the mobilisation of organised associative movement will go on beyond from the next return to give an account of real advances notably at the time of the vote of finance act, by hoping that taken commitments will be followed by facts.
