European symposium at home from Europe of Paris on December 14th, 2007
For the first time, the permanent Conference of associative coordinations (CPCA) unites the associative national decks coming from States-members of the European Union, during an European event in Paris. It is an unique occasion to accomplish an appraisal, State-member by State-member, of democratic and financial relations between associations and Authorities and to discuss European perspectives in 6 months of the French Presidency of the European Union!
In the presence of decks and of associative networks of: Hungary (EUROPEAN FORUM OF HUNGARIAN NGOS), Germany (Bundesnetzwerk Burgerschaftliches Engagement, Bundesarbeitsgemeinschaft der freien Wohlahrtspflege), the United Kingdom (National Council for Voluntary Organisations, Community Service Volunteers), Slovakia (Open Society Foundation), Lithuania (NGO information and support centres, the Volunteer Centre), Slovenia (Centre for Information service, cooperation and development OF NGOS), Estonia (ESTONIAN NGO ROUND banks on), Sweden (Forum for Voluntary Social Work), Malta (SOS Malta), Cyprus (Section Cyprian Volunteerism Coordinative Council), Latvia (Civic Alliance).
The community life in Europe, they are:
> more than 3 million associations and the dozens millions from European which live an associative commitment which goes of simple membership to the daily behaviour of a collective plan,
> dozens millions from European which undertake in another way as part of a social and united economy and develop founding activities of social utility on territories.
The day will introduce the experience of the national decks in the course of two thematic round tables, the one centered on civil dialogue Associations authorities, other one on contractual relations between associations and authorities. A debate will follow allowing the representatives of associative decks and of associations, to the researchers and to the present institutional representatives to exchange on the role and the place of associations in Member states.
