Summary of the article

"The associative world is just like other bodies of the society: he saw Europe for a long time but has discovered it recently as an inevitable element of his future". From this official report, the author recalls some European stakes relating to the community life. These, successively seen under the angles of threats or of opportunities, are finally put in perspective with the French problems of contractual relations between associations and authorities. "What is played [with the modernisation of these relations] exceeds the only survival of associations administrators" concludes the author.
