
An unsurpassed mobilisation
More than 100 organisations and personalities joined the call thrown on Thursday, January 21st to the candidates for regional elections of March, 2010.
For the first time the actors and organisations of social and united economy (list below) gather widely around a common text in favour of ESS and call futures elected to include him on the whole of regional policy.
Social and united economy: for an exit from crisis by the top
Anchored locally, not much d localisable, holder of nearness and of solidarities, ESS contributes to a more humanist but also more delightful territorial economy, explains the text broadcast this day. His recognition and his integration on the whole regional policy is today necessary to make territories the heart of real economy. ESS, economic and social force, opens the way by example to a more united regional development and to an exit from crisis by the top.
Stakes of these proposals are in the middle of the concerns of Frenchmen: protect today's jobs, create jobs of future anchored on territories, improve the quality of life of the citizens, environment and preserve social cohesion. It is a question in fine of favouring a more lasting and more united economy.

The actors and networks of ESS will meet the candidates elected just after regional elections to envisage with them the real and adapted implementation of these proposals and so that they promise to assess publicly at mi-mandate the advance of achievements.

Piloted by Claude Alphand ry, President of honour of Active France, in collaboration with Laurent Fraisse and Tarik Ghezali, the Laboratory of ESS is an unsurpassed joint representation by its largeness and its quality. This one accepts since the November the thousands of visits and the hundreds of comments.
THE ESS IN SHORT
Social and united economy represents region in 2006 between 6 % and 13 % economies in, that it is in terms of seats of firm (from 5,9 to 12,5 %), of establishments (from 6,5 % to 13 %) or of jobs (from 6,6 % to 13,4 %). The regional average of the percentage of jobs in ESS is 9,8 % that is 1 job of 10. It is the Western regions which know the best establishment. 3 regions which use most wage earners in the sector of ESS are Brittany (13,4 %), region Poitou-Charentes (12,4 %) and Pays-de-Loire (12,4 %). The almost totality of regions has today an elected representative and a service devoted to ESS who understands on average 1 - 2 representatives. Budgets go from 1 million to 3 millions of euro, from 7 to 20 millions if they include into it assistants to job (jobs ski jump, associative jobs) and devices IAE. Often attached to the direction of economic development, competence ESS can also be included into services job, sustainable development, decentralised cooperation, etc. Complete data are available if required.
