This meeting occasioned the French association Офис-holders to hear and to discuss stakes of civil dialogue in Europe with dealers of the CESE, of whom the linkage group of the actors of the society to CESE, of the European Parliament, of the Committee of regions, of permanent French representation in Brussels.
Stakes of civil dialogue appear apparently today while Europe does not provoke or more the membership of the European. She constitutes however a major democratic political arena for the future of populations. The paradigm of the European construction is not any more that of peace between the people by the only building of a big single market, it gives therefore all its force and its value to a real citizen's participation in the building of European plan in the XXIth century.
The legitimacy of the European Union passes by universal suffrage and therefore by representative democracy to the European Parliament. The place of the social organisations, coming from the working world, is always so decisive in the European construction. Therefore, next to representative democracy, to social democracy, new European plan must raise citizen's participation also notably as part of the organised associations.
That is why CPCA, authority of representation of the associative movement organised in France, rallied to introduce a Manifesto as part of its campaign "what would be Europe without associations?".
This manifesto will be broadcast to the candidates for European elections of next June, notably carried by regional CPCA in 7 districts of metropolis.
